Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Meu Carango application ("application", "service"). By creating an account or using the application, you declare that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Acceptance
Use of the application is conditional on full acceptance of these Terms and of our Privacy Policy (Portuguese). You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity required to enter into this agreement.
2. Description of the service
Meu Carango is a vehicle management tool that lets you log fuel fill-ups, maintenance and expenses, and generate reports, alerts and reminders. The information and calculations are informational and for support only and do not replace the assessment of professionals (for example, mechanics or accountants).
3. User account
- You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping it up to date;
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out on your account;
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the application for unlawful purposes or in violation of the rights of third parties;
- Attempt to access areas, systems or data without authorization;
- Interfere with the operation of the service, introduce malicious code or overload the infrastructure;
- Copy, modify, distribute or exploit the application beyond what these Terms allow.
5. User content
The data and content you enter remain yours. You grant us a limited license to process and store that content for the sole purpose of operating the service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content you record.
6. Plans and subscriptions
The application may offer free features and paid plans. Where applicable, subscriptions are processed by the app stores (App Store and Google Play), under each platform's billing, renewal and refund rules and policies. Cancellations and subscription management must be carried out in the respective store.
7. Intellectual property
The application, its brand, visual identity, code and other elements are protected by intellectual property rights and belong to Meu Carango or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or of being error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, loss of profits or decisions made based on the information in the application.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access in the event of a breach of these Terms or misuse. You may close your account at any time by deleting it in the application under Profile > Account > Delete account.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the application or by email. Continued use after the changes means you agree to the new version.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the user's place of residence are elected as the venue to resolve any disputes, unless the law provides otherwise.
